We rented bikes on the shortest day of the year and tooled around the lake. Beautiful snow capped mountains surrounding us as jill and I finally delivered on a day of bike riding. Clare had a grin a mile wide as she and the bro played chicken and we averted our eyes. Eventually it started to drizzle but our spirits did not dampen.
Yesterday Jill and I got 2 hours of freedom when Monica minded the kids as we stocked up on merino products and taco ingredients. We also grabbed a quick drink at a quaint bar in the old part of the city. Fantastique!
